Pre-medical drive held for Agniveer aspirants

Imphal, June 11 2024:
Indian Army organised a guidance session and pre-medical drive for Agniveer aspirants in Bishnupur district, aimed at engaging local youth and securing their future.
The session focused on various aspects of medical and physical assessment tests for 43 young boys who cleared the Common Entrance Test (CET) of the Agniveer entry scheme.
These aspirants had previously undergone training from February 5 to April 19 at the Red Shield Centre for Excellence and Wellness.
According to a statement issued by PRO Defence, Indian Army will provide a nine-week training programme to prepare the aspirants for the upcoming recruitment rallies in August and September.
The pre-medical drive assessed the medical conditions of the individuals and offered guidance on maintaining physical fitness.
