Training on new criminal laws commences

Churachandpur, July 05 2024: A two-day training and orientation programme on the three new criminal laws, namely Bharatiya Sakshya Adhniyam (BSA), 202.3; Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023; and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 commenced from Friday at mini auditorium of EBC Gospel Centenary Hall, New Lamka, here.

The inaugural session of the training was attended by Sessions Judge Lamkhanpau Tonsing, ADC Churachandpur ex- members Seiminthang and Lenthang, Pherzawl SP Lalboi, Churachandpur SP Sheikh Md Jib Zakir and Suangdoh/Mualnuam SDO Khaikho-pau Ngaihte as presidium members.

Judge Lamkhanpau Tonsing and Chief Judicial Magistrate Janggoulian Haokip were the resource persons on the first day of the training programme being attended by district's police officials and legal practitioners.
