CRPF observes Organ Donation Day

Imphal, August 03 2024: 143 Bn CRPF and 86 Bn CRPF observed Organ Donation Day at Lamphelpat on Saturday.

As per a release, 143 Bn CRPF organised an organ donation awareness camp in association with RIMS, Imphal Anatomy Department as part of the observance.

A medical officer from RIMS, Imphal delivered an awareness lecture on the importance of organ donation and he encouraged the personnel for organ donation.

143 Bn commandant Ravin-der Sharma, also encouraged CRPF officers and troops to come forward for registering their names on the organ donation website, it added.

Meanwhile, 86 Bn CRPF in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Lamphelpat observed Indian Organ Donation Day.

Along with officers and personnel of CRPF, staff and students of KV No 1 participated in the observance, a release by 86 Bn CRPF deputy commandant Kiyam Rajiv Singh said.

Speaking at the occasion, 86 Bn CRPF commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary apprised all participants about the importance of organ donation and encouraged them to consistently keep themselves physically, mentally fit and healthy, it further mentioned.
