NPO warns shopkeepers against price hike

Senapati, June 02 2025: Naga People's Organisation (NPO) Senapati has warned all shopkeepers across the district not to hike prices by taking undue advantage of the ongoing crisis caused by incessant rainfall and flash floods.

It may be mentioned that the district is reeling from the impact.of heavy rainfall, which triggered multiple landslides, mudslides, and road collapses, severely disrupting major road connections to the district and state.

NPO sought the understanding, cooperation, and commitment to fairness during this difficult period, stating that complying its notice would be deeply appreciated.

However, NPO cautioned that any shop found defying its appeal will face strict action.
