AR pays tribute to bravehearts

Imphal, March 01 2025: A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was organised by Assam Rifles at Mantripukhri to pay tribute to the bravehearts who laid down their lives during Area Domination Patrolling Party duty on February 29, 1980 in Imphal.

According to a release issued by HQ IGAR (South), the ceremony honoured the memory of the courageous soldiers Late Lance NaikMan Bahadur Ale, Late Rifleman Sena Singh and Late Rifleman Brahma Das Dogra who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

The event was attended by Assam Rifles personnel who paid their respects to the fallen heroes.

The wreath-laying ceremony was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers of Assam Rifles.

The Assam Rifles has a proud history of valour and sacrifice, and this ceremony was a tribute to the indomitable spirit of its bravehearts.
