Assembly Complex fitness centre inaugurated

Imphal, July 31 2025: Manipur Legislative Assembly speaker Th Satyabrata inaugurated a Health & Fitness Centre at the assembly complex on Thursday.

According to Satyabrata, the fitness centre was established with the main objective of keeping members and employees of the Assembly Secretariat healthy.

He informed that though the centre currently has badminton and table tennis courts, a gymnasium facility will be added shortly.

"This will enable members and employees to relax and relieve stress from their hectic schedules," he said, while commending assembly secretary Rohit Sapam, additional secretary Tapan Gurumayum and others for shouldering immense responsibilities in opening the centre.

The inauguration function was alsoattended by the secretary, additional secretary and staff members of the assembly secretariat.
