Manipur University hosts two-day international conference

Imphal, May 30 2025: A two-day international conference (hybrid mode) on Manipuri Diaspora and Nikhil Hindu Manipuri Mahasabha, was inaugurated at the Court Hall of Manipur University on Friday.

The conference is being organised by Department of History and College Development Council of Manipur University in collaboration with Department of History, Dhanamanjuri University; Department of Sankirtana, Manipur University of Culture; Department of Ancient History and Archaeology, Manipur University; Meitei Tampha Lup London; Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Tripura; Intellectual Forum of North-East Manipur; and Bharat Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Manipur Prant.

The inaugural function was attended by MU VC Prof N Lokendra as chief guest, MU School of Social Sciences dean Prof Memcha Loitongbam as president and Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana general secretary Hemanta Ding Ma-zumdar as guests of honour.
