Imphal, October 27 2024: 'Maithiraba Thabal', a short story book penned by I Basanta was released in a function organised by Writers' Forum Imphal at DIPR auditorium, Nityaipat Chuthek on Sunday.

The book was also released simultaneously at Naharol Khorirol Sillu, Assam Lakhipur Cachar.

The release function at DIPR was attended by Forum president Keisham Priyokumar and former president Lamabam Biramani while Dr Wahengbam Kumari spoke on the life history of the author.

Meanwhile, 'Imagi Maming', a book of poems penned by Moirangthem Netrajit was released in a function organised by Ayiba Ipak at the Kairang Makha Leikai residence of MA Hashim on Sunday, followed by the unveiling of Leirang Kundo Nungshibi', a poetry book authored by Lairellakpam Ngouba.

The function was attended by Ayiba president NK Luwang, Imakhol president founder president RK Gunachandra and Islamic Baby English School principal Azrun Kabir as presidium members.
