Capacity building programme concludes

Imphal, June 26 2025: A two-day capacity building programme for master trainers and resource persons on 'Providing Psychological and Emotional Support to Students' concluded at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, here, on Wednesday.

Samagra Shiksha, State Implementation Society, Manipur organised the programme in association with The Art of Living, Manipur, and RIMS Department of Clinical Psychology, under the aegis of education secretary N Praveen, and director Ng Bhogendra.

The training was designed to capacitate teachers to better understand mental and emotional health of students and support them accordingly.

Aimed at providing a safer environment to students by equipping teachers with resources to identify and handle emotional and psychological issues of students, the programme was also intended to guide students in their overall development by empowering the teachers, and build an inclusive learning space for all children.

Different types of learning based activities were conducted during the two day event.
