"HCL TechBee Manipur" held in Kakching

Kakching, July 25 2024: A skill development training with a job placement programme called HCL TechBee Manipur' was conducted for the district by the Department of Information Technology in association with M/s HCLTECH at IACT Kakching Branch on Thursday.

The programme held for the IT sector was conducted for students who have completed class XII in the year 2023/2024 .

It may be mentioned that the selected candidates will undergo one-year of training, while the programme fee for IT roles training will be Rs 1,40,000 (all inclusive) and for associate (non-IT roles) training Rs 51,000 (all inclusive) .

The programme comprises two parts, classroom training centred on in person training of six months for IT role, three months for associate role (non-IT) and internship for a total duration of 6-12 months for IT roles followed by 3-12 months for associate roles.

Stipend of Rs 10,000 will be provided during the internship.

The Government of Manipur will be providing subsidy of Rs 50,000 against the fees for the selected candidates from Manipur with loan facility also made available for the remaining amount.
