ABHA registration camp held

Imphal, May 25 2024:
A registration camp for Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) cards was held at Pourabi Lainingthou Puthiba community hall on Friday.
The event, aimed to increase awareness and facilitate the registration process for ABHA card, which provides numerous health benefits under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, was jointly organised by Modhu & Sanahanbi Memorial Trust Pourabi and Pourabi Lamjing Nupi Marup, in coordination with the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Cell of Imphal East CMO Pool.
The camp saw participation by 91 families who turned up for the registration.
The team received assistance from Anganwadi workers and helpers from the IDCDS project Sawombung.
During the event, Walton GP chairperson Konthoujam Kalachand and Pourabi Part 1 member Yambem Naobi distributed ABHA cards to the beneficiaries.
The camp was attended by several officials, including district nodal officer for NCD Dr Th Sayida, assistant programme manager NCD Okram Victoria, block HMIS assistant M Nikita; DEO CMHA H Rohit, and pharmacist Kh Vikramjit, Who represented the NCD Cell of Imphal East.
The staff from the NCD Cell also took the opportunity to educate fhe public about the benefits of ABHA card and its uses.
