Senapati, November 23 2024: Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Maram village in Senapati district on Saturday.

The initiative aimed to provide essential medical care and medications to the residents of Maram and neighbouring villages, particularly in the post-harvest season.

A team of three medical professionals, including the CMO from the Maram Battalion, rendered service to 403 individuals from various villages in the area.

Comprehensive medical examinations were conducted and essential medicines were distributed to the attendees.

Additionally, the villagers were educated on preventive measures and tailored curative treatments were administered based on individual requirements.

The effort received widespread appreciation from village authorities, civil society organisations, and the local community.

The Assam Rifles were commended for their unwavering commitment and proactive approach to improving the well-being of the residents of Senapati district.

Their contribution was recognised as a significant and impactful intervention in the area.
