Tamenglong College hosts workshop on Academic Writings

Tamenglong, November 22 2024: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Research & Publication Cell of Tamenglong College organised a one-day 'Capacity Building Workshop on Academic Writings' on Friday.

The event featured assistant professor Dr S Solomon (Department of Economics), and assistant professor Ngamtinlun Touthang (Department of Political Science), as resource persons.

The inaugural function of the workshop was held with college principal Dr Kinthuijinang Maremmei as chief guest, while IQAC coordinator Namsurei Thomas Kamei delivered the keynote address.

The programme was structured into five technical sessions covering themes such as research paper writing, research ethics, plagiarism, literature review, data collection methods, referencing, and publication processes.

The event concluded with a valedictory function during which certificates were awarded to the participants.

David Jiangamlung Kamei, assistant coordinator IQAC, presented the rapporteur's report and extended the vote of thanks.

The workshop, attended by the college's teaching staff, was moderated by NG Tu-akeulung, assistant professor and head of the Department of English.
