Imphal, December 21 2024: A children's drawing competition was held on the seventh day of the 31st Imphal Book Fair at State Central Library, Imphal & Manipur State Archives campus on Saturday.

In a release, State Central Library, Imphal chief librarian informed that 60 students took part in the drawing competition conducted in two categories A (Class III to V) and B (Class VI to VII) .

For Category A, Kh Joy Meitei (Class III) of Wangkhei High School bagged the first prize, while S Purel Mangang (Class IV) of St George High School and Kh Chandra Meitei (Class-V) of Wangkhei High School won second and third prizes respectively.

In Category B, Aditya Sinam (Class V) of Tiny Tot's Unique School won the first prize, while N Kangleikhombi (Class V) of Kon-som Tombi & Sachi School bagged the second prize and Lanchenba Aribam (Class V) of Mega Manipur School won the third prize.

The prizes will be distributed on December 24, the release informed.
