Kakching, January 18 2025: Primary Health Centre (PHC), Wangoo Laipham Hospital Management Committee has announced the withdrawal of its protest, which involved locking the Primary Health Centre (PHC) .

The health centre will now resume its 24-hour service as it had previously provided.

Speaking to media persons, Committee's executive member Th Dhamen informed that the stir was withdrawn on Friday after an order was issued by health & family welfare joint director deputing two doctor to the PHC.

Expressing gratitude to the health minister for the arrangement, he appealed to the authority concerned to fill the vacant posts of the supervisor and staff nurses for the health centre at the earliest.

Dhamen further emphasised that in future a replacement should be sent before transferring any staff of the PHC.

He also informed that the newly deputed doctors are yet to join the PHC.

He also expressed regret over the inconveniences faced by the public due to the closing of PHC because of their protest.
