Imphal, June 17 2025: A blood donation camp was organised by the Voluntary Help Unit Committee at RIMS Blood Bank on Tuesday, in honour of those who laid down their lives and those injured during the agitations against the inclusion of the phrase "Without Territorial Limit" in the 2001 agreement between the Government of India and the NSCN (IM) .

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the camp, Laishram Thoiba, one of the donors, highlighted that as human beings, it is the bounden duty to help one another and contribute to the welfare of society.

He said that instead of celebrating birthdays with cake and feasts, such auspicious occasion should be marked by acts of generosity, including donating blood to help those in need and potentially save precious lives.
