Seminar on Netaji, INA organised

A state-level seminar on the topic "Netaji and the INA" was organised by the Department of Art & Culture in association with INA War Museum cum Netaji Library, Moirang; INA Advisory Committee Moirang and Internal Quality Assurance Cell Kumbi College at INA Martyr's Memorial Complex in Moirang on Saturday.
The function which kicked off with offering of floral tributes to the statue of Netaji Suabash Chandra Bose, was attended by Manipur University vice chancellor professor N Lokendra Singh, Moirang College retired principal A Sharatchandra Sharma and Manipur University Ancient History and Archaeology head of department professor O Ranjit Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

The business session chaired by professor O Ranjit Singh witnessed resource persons presenting papers on varied topics.
Manipur University Ancient History and Archaeology assistant professor Dr H Ajit Meitei presented paper on "The INA and Manipur: The Historical Significance"; Kumbi College department of History assistant professor Dr K Bidyara-ni Devi on "Contribution of Rash Bihari Bose to Indian Freedom Struggle"; Manipur State Secretary, AIFB, MSC Kh Gyaneshwar Singh on "God-Sent Army and It's Incarnate Commander", Moirang College Political Science head of department Dr M Rita and research scholar M Rambha Devi on "The INA and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Legacy in South East Asia, Nationalist Sentiment among the Indian Diaspora" and Western College Konthoujam department of History assistant professor MD Ahmed Dullah Khan on "INA Movement Under Netaji Subhash".
In the second session chaired by retired Lieutenant General L Nishikanta Singh, Manipur University Anthropology PhD scholar Anish Singh Kangabam presented paper on "Study on the Second World War: An Anthropological Perspective"; Manipur University department of History guest faculty Dr M Boby on "The Post War Implications of Manipur Involvement in the INA: A Historical Perspective"; WW II Imphal Campaign Foundation founder chairman Y Rajeshwar Singh on "INA Exploit on Palel Airfield"; Moirang College department of Political Science faculty Sweeta Konjengbam on "Divergent Road to Freedom: Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose"; Moirang College Political Science assistant professor Md Raffijudin Shah on "Contribution of Captain Naki Ahmed Chaudhiri in the INA Movement"; Moirang College retired associate professor Y Modhu Singh on "Freedom Struggle of India"; Pragmatic Ideas Revolution and Obstacles of Netaji Amadi INA Cum Netaji Library curator Dr L Sadhana Devi on "INA War Museum Cum Library, Moirang: Today 's Befitting Beacon of Hope and Resilience" .
