Kakching, July 12 2024: Sugnu Apunba Meira Paibi Lup has appealed to media houses in the state not to publish news reports which could strain relation between the police and the public.

According to Lup leader Aheibam Chanthoisana, personnel of Sugnu police are discharging their duty appreciably and safeguarding people day and night.

However, some baseless reports published in the media and posted on social media seem to be part of a hidden agenda to create chasm between the security agencies and the general population, particularly tarnish the image of Sugnu police, she said and appealed to all concerned to publish only authenticate reports.
