Senapati, June 10 2025:
The 16 Assam Rifles, COB, Senapati, led by major NM Singh, a gallantry awardee, along with his wife, distributed relief materials and food items on Monday to the underprivileged children residents of CCM Caring Home for Boys, CCM Caring Home for Girls, CCM Adoption Centre, and Compassion Residential Academy.

The initiative was conducted under the supervision of Col Sandeep Sharma, commandant, 16 Assam Rifles, Maram.
The relief effort was organised in response to the devastating flash floods that struck the CCM campus on May 31 and June 1, 2025, following torrential rainfall.
The floods caused severe damage, leaving the campus and its residents in dire need of assistance.
Recognising the urgency, the Assam Rifles team stepped in to provide essential supplies, ensuring the children's basic needs were met.
The CCM campus was among the worst-affected areas in Senapati, with the floods causing significant damage.
