CEO invites for verifying Tadubi poll roll

Imphal, May 07 2025: Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur has urged all concerned to appeal for claims and objections, if any, in connection with the publication of draft electoral rolls on April 8 by the electoral registration officer (ERO) of Tadubi assembly constituency.

In a release, joint CEO Ramananda Nongmeikapam recounted that political parties concerned appointed 145 booth level agents (BLAs) for verifying the draft electoral rolls.

After addressing all claims and objections, the final electoral rolls were published by the ERO on May 5 with a copy each handed over to all political parties.

As per Section 24 (a) of Representation of the People Act 1950, anyone can file an appeal against the decision of the ERO to the Senapati district election officer (DEO)/deputy commissioner (DC).

In case anyone is not satisfied with the decision of Senapati DEO/DC an appeal can still be filed with the CEO, Manipur, it added.
