Imphal, July 29 2024: A three-day festival of narrative art (Puwari Lee-ba) organised by Mamataz Manipuri Dance & Music Centre (MMDMC) under the sponsorship of Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi concluded on Monday at Sagolband Khamnam Bazar Soyam Leirak in Imphal West district.

A release issued by MMDMC informed that the inaugural programme held on July 27 was attended by Manipur State Kala Akademi secretary Sunanda Thokchom and MMDMC president Maibam Chandra as chief guest and president respectively.

Mutum Chanu Yoihenbi of Ningombam Mayai Leikai presented a narration on 'Malem Leisemlol' on the first day, and Tayengjam Samungou Meetei of Ngairangbam Maning Leikai recited 'Pakhangba Sakok' on the second day while Yumnamcha Nongdamlel Mangang declaimed 'Pokpadagina Siba Faoba' on the last day, it added.
