In connection with the mental health awareness month, Sports Authority of India, Regional Centre, Imphal organised a programme aimed at maintaining good mental health in workplace, at the meeting hall of North Eastern Regional Centre (NERC), Imphal on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Lenin informed that mental health issues are not isolated incidents happening to just a few individuals.
When someone suffers from mental distress in a workplace, he/she should not be discriminated or look down upon.
Instead, one should get along with love and care, thereby helping the affected person to overcome his pain and suffering, he conveyed.
Dr Lenin continued that one needs to maintain good mental and physical health as both are inseparable from one another.
Additionally, maintaining good mental health helps in pursuing our passions to the fullest, while also giving strength to live and handle all the problems thrown into our life in a calm manner.
