Noney, August 28 2024: Assam Rifles organised a free eye and health check-up camp at Longmai village in Noney district with the stated objective to facilitate the villagers have convenient access to essential healthcare service and receive expert medical attention close to home.

A dedicated medical team of Assam Rifles conducted thorough eye examinations and general health check-up, offering relief and care to total of 500 civilians, including 350 women.

Such noble efforts by the Assam Rifles showcased unwavering commitment to the well-being of the people and strengthen their bond with the local community.

At the end of the event, the village community expressed heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate and thoughtful gesture.
