Imphal, January 28 2025: RIMS director Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma inaugurated the new RIMS Cafeteria near the Special Ward of RIMS Hospital on Tuesday.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by RIMS medical superintendent Prof N Sanjib Singh.

According to a press release issued by RIMS media cell, the new cafeteria aims to enhance the dining experience for hospital staff, students, and visitors by providing high-quality, hygienic, and affordable food services.

A significant feature of the facility is the Blue Plate Initiative, introduced to offer nutritious and cost-effective meal options.

Addressing the gathering, Prof G Sunil emphasised the importance of maintaining hygiene and nutritional standards in food services within a healthcare setting while Prof N Sanjib highlighted the cafeteria's contribution to ensuring the well-being of the RIMS community.

The event was attended by officials, staff, and students of RIMS, including senior administrators and faculty members, the released added.
