Relief items provided; sent for training

Imphal, May 24 2024:
In response to recent violence and natural calamities in the state, the National Youth Project (NYP), Bharat Seva Sansthan, Ekta Parishad, and Tomthin Foundation distributed supplementary food to 1900 children in 40 relief camps across Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, and Kakching districts.
The relief operation, conducted from May 20 to 23, included provision of essentials like milk powder and Cerelac, contributed by Bharat Seva Sansthan's chief Girdhari Singh Bapna.
Key figures such as Ran Singh Parmar, Hanuman Sharma, and Aribam Rishikanta participated in the effort.
The team also visited and offered condolences to the bereaved family of village volunteer Monoranjan at Thiyam Konjil.
Additionally, a group of youths and women has been sent to Gujarat for skill development training with the Self Employed Women Association (SEWA) and SEDI-Ambuja Cement Foundation.
