Truckers, cops repair Makhan-Mao road

Imphal, April 23 2025: Manipur Drivers' Association along with Senapati Trucks Drivers' Union, Senapati District Truck Owners' Association and Mao police station personnel banded together on Wednesday to mend the potholes-littered Makhan to Mao road along on the Imphal-Dimapur section of National Highway-2.Speaking in this regard, Manipur Drivers' Association secretary Kh Sangitcharan informed that the step was taken up to ensure the safety of the drivers.

He then urged NHIDCL and the government authorities to continue repairing the road as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Senapati District Truck Owners' Association secretary Sunde Loli said that the deplorable condition of the road had already caused two serious accidents.
