Imphal, January 23 2025: Education minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh has extended his greetings on the occasion of the International Day of Education, which falls on Friday.

In his message, the minister stated that education is the cornerstone of our society, empowering individuals and fostering growth and development.

"This day reminds us of the pivotal role education plays in shaping our future and the importance of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all" .

"As we celebrate this day, let us reaffirm Our commitment to providing quality education to every child in Manipur.

Our government is dedicated to enhancing educational infrastructure, promoting innovative teaching methods, and ensuring that our students receive the best possible education," he assured, urging all educators to continue their noble mission with dedication and passion.

"To the students, I encourage you to pursue your studies with diligence and curiosity, for you are the future leaders of our state and nation," he maintained and called for collectively working towards a brighter, more educated future for Manipur.
