Imphal, October 21 2024: Spastic Society of Manipur in collaboration with office of chief medical officers, Imphal East and Imphal West, and Social Welfare Department organised a Hearing Assessment Camp under the Unique Disability ID Programme at the campus of the Society on Monday.

During the camp, ENT doctors and trained audiologists assessed the hearing capacity of the participants and informed that those with hearing impairments will be distributed hearing aids free of cost on November 15.The camp was also attended by Langthabal MLA Karam Shyam and Spastic Society of Manipur secretary Laishram Tokendra Ricky.

The speakers on the occasion appealed to the differently-abled to possess disability certificates provided by the department concerned and avail various benefits under different government schemes.

Later, one Moirangthem Miranda of Sugnu was presented with a motorised tricycle by the Spastic Society of Manipur.
