Kakching, August 21 2024: As part of Stop Diarrhoea Cam paign.

Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Kakching Division organised an awareness programme on protection against diarrhoea at Sora High School, Sora and Sanatombi High School, Keirak on Wednesday.

During the programmes held under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), demonstrations on Systematic Hand Washing and usage of Field-Testing Kit (FTK) for checking water quality were carried out.

FTKs were also handed over to school authorities at the end of the events.

The programmes were attended by Kakching PHE Division executive engineer Thiyam Ajit Singh, AE Kangabam Roshan and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Implementation Support Agency (ISA) Alliance for Development Alternative Manipur (ADAM), Kakching secretary Surjit Kshetrimayum, among others.
