Woman found dead, another dies in accident

CCpur, September 19 2024: A woman identified as Boinu Joyce (32), wife of (L) Hopson Khongsai of B Aijalon, was found dead at B Vengnom locality near Logos School on Wednesday evening with injury mark visible above her right eyes.

Boinu had been living with her son in a rented quarter at B Aijalon locality and was working as an assistant teacher at Logos School according to source.

She was laid to rest on Thursday at the local cemetery.

On the other hand, one Chonglalngai (45), wife of Thanglet of Bungmual, succumbed to injuries suffered after she was knocked down by a speeding Maruti car (ML-5F/1195) on Wednesday evening in Phailien area.

She was rushed to the district hospital where she succumbed to injuries.

The body was buried at Bungmual cemetery after an agreement was reached on Thursday.
