Farmers' training programme conducted

Thoubal, August 18 2024: Development Youth Club, Athokpam and Thoujal Agro Manipur jointly organised a one-day farmers' training programme at Thoubal Athokpam Makha on Sunday.

Central Agricultural University's entomology department head professor Dr Ibohal, social worker Okram Babu and Thoujal Agro proprietor H Somorjit were chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively of the programme.

Around 50 farmers of the locality were trained by subject experts of Thoujal Agro Manipur on topics ranging from method for high productivity to timely application of pesticides and fertilisers, among others.

The training session was followed by an interaction session between the trainers and farmers.
