FoH to unveil 'Indigenous Pillar' on Oct 6

Imphal, August 17 2025: Federation of Haomee (FoH) aims to unveil the 'Indigenous Pillar (Yelhoumee Yumbi)', bearing inscription of 25 indigenous tribes of Manipur, on October 6 .

As per a circular issued by FoH general secretary Y Shyam Khuman on Sunday, the Pillar constructed with contributions from its members and well-wishers so far, with the complex is still bereft of gate, compound fencing, beautification, etc., as the funds have been exhausted.

Mentioning that funds are also needed for organising the event, Y Shyam informed that minimum of Rs 3 lakh is required to complete the pending works and organise the function.

As such the circular urged FoH members to contribute Rs 500 or more by August 30 and all well-wishers to donate generously for smooth unveiling of the Pillar.

The members can make the contributions through the GPay Number-8119866870, it added.
