State level painting competition held

Imphal, August 14 2024: Department of Art and Culture in association with Arts Society Manipur organised a state level children's painting competition on the theme "Har Ghar Tiranga -A Homage to the Patriots/ Martyrs" at City Convention Centre, here, on Tuesday.

The competition was held in three categories: Category A for Classes 3 to 5, Category B for Classes 6 to 8, and Category C for Classes 9 to 12 .

Around 400 students participated in the event.

Each participating student was given a certificate of participation, while the winners will be honoured in a separate function later on.

The programme was attended by Art and Culture commissioner M Joy, director K Dinamani, Arts Society Manipur president Th Deben-dra, and secretary Ch Lalit as presidium members.
