Imphal, May 13 2024:
A day after the armed KCP (PWG) MC Unification imposed ban on his activities on the charge of collecting money from job seekers, Smart Security Service (SSS), JNIMS director L Dhanachandra has clarified that no money was collected in recruitment of manpower for the security agency.
Dhanachandra told media persons at Manipur Press Club, here, on Monday that he took charge of SSS agency from the year 2022-23, during which only 80 security staff of SSS agency were deployed at JNIMS, subsequently compelling initiation of process to meet requirement of the hospital.
As the recruitment process was to be conducted through official channel, candidates contributed money in their capacities as donation but no money for recruitment was collected, he said, adding that there is no recruitment at present.
Regarding recruitment of security staff at RIMS, L Dhanachandra clarified that recruitment process initiated by the Ministry remains under-process after outbreak of the ethnic violence in the state last year.
He also appealed to the outfit not to threaten security staff while pointing out that misunderstanding, if any, could be resolved through mutual discussion and understanding.
