AAP raises posers on School Fagathanshi Mission

Aam Admi Party (AAP) Manipur state coordinator Bishwanath Thingam has questioned whether the 'School Fagathanshi Mission' launched by the government of Manipur for improving educational institutions in the state, was in reality, used in the name of students to secure projects for profit.
Addressing the media at Manipur Press Club, here, Sunday, Bishwanath said that AAP recently inspected some of government schools during which infrastructures were found not bn par, in addition to shortage of teachers.
After the 'School Fagathanshi Mission' was launched, the number of students' enrolment in government institutions also dropped, he said, contending that some government educational institutions did not have even 15 students in total.
Reflecting on the issue of around 600 contracted teachers not provided salaries in time, he questioned whether central and stategovernment officials are making financial gains under the garb of students' welfare.
Bishwanath suggested that the government acts proactively in improving government schools and in guiding properly the future pillars of the state and country.
The coordinator also lamented that deplorable condition of roads across the state are creating serious issues for the people, urged for repairing the roads at the earliest.
Regarding suspense On the SoO agreement with Kuki militants, Bishwanath said indecision by the Ministry of Home Affairs is making the people confused and anxious while emphasising that the government should make its stand clear to the people.
During the press meet, Bishwanath announced that advocate Thiyam Jugindro had been appointed as the legal in-charge of the party, along with six other advocates as legal members and in-charges of nine districts.
