Interaction prog for media fellows held

Imphal, September 08 2024: The third interaction programme for the 5th media fellows on climate change reporting was held on the topic 'Weather information, Health & Climate Change' on Sunday at the main conference hall of the Directorate of Environment ahd Climate Change.

As part of the programme, a brief presentation on Meteorological Centre (MC), Imphal was delivered by MC, Imphal head & scientist E JKS Yadav and K scientist D Ambethkar, followed by another presentation on climate change and human health by National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health nodal officer Dr Y Niveda.

The programme was attended by Environment & Climate Change director Dr T Brajakumar Singh and development officer Dr N Sanamacha, Shija Hospitals chairman and managing director Dr Kh Palin and medical superintendent S Jugindro Singh, Mothers' Care Hospital chairman and managing director Dr Kh Ratan Singh, Association of Healthcare Providers India, Manipur members Asit Deb nath and Vijayraj Houbijam, environmental activist Ksh Surjit of Kakching and media persons.

During the programme, certificate of completion were distributed to recipients of the previous media fellow.
