Imphal, March 06 2025:
Assam Rifles reportedly organised a medical camp for residents of Twilelon and surrounding villages in Chandel district on Thursday to provide essential healthcare services to the underprivileged.
According to PRO IGAR (S), over 150 individuals, including 76 women and 24 children, benefited from the camp, receiving medical attention, treatment, and referrals for further care.
In addition to consultations, the camp featured awareness sessions on seasonal diseases such as dengue, malaria, and diarrhoea, equipping residents with crucial health information.
This initiative played a vital role in supporting underprivileged communities in remote areas by ensuring access to basic healthcare, said the PRO in a release.
