AR provides medical aid to accident victims

Imphal, July 27 2024: Assam Rifles stationed at Shangshak in Ukhrul district provided critical assistance in a road accident involving a civilian Bolero vehicle on Saturday.

The vehicle tumbled off the road near Gamnoum village.

AR troops quickly mobilised and rescued the passengers trapped inside the overturned vehicle.

The injured were evacuated and transported to the Shangshak battalion's unit hospital.

An AR medical team provided urgent care and treatment to all seven passengers, stabilising their conditions and providing necessary emergency medical support.

The local community and passengers expressed gratitude to the AR for their prompt action and compassionate care, which prevented further harm and ensured a swift recovery for the injured, said a press release from IGAR (S) .
