Parakram Diwas celebrated in Ukhrul

Ukhrul, January 23 2025: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ukhrul organised the Parakram Diwas celebration on Thursday, marking the 128th birth anniversary' of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Around 20 students from various schools in the district headquarters including Little Angels Public School, Ukhrul Secondary School, and Assam Rifles Public School, joined students of the Kendriya Vidyalaya in the celebration, which began with gar landing of Netaji's portrait by the teachers and students, followed by a welcome song by the students of KV, Ukhrul.

The highlight of the day was the screening of different historical events of India's Freedom struggle under the title 'Bharat Hai Hum' and quiz session organised for the students.

Prizes were distributed to the first three winners.
