The event began with a blessing and prayer led by Shillong Anal Baptist Church pastor reverend Dr Runglal Denish.
NSUC president Ruwnglar Elly Anal highlighted that the carnival was designed to combine shopping, fun, and community interaction.
"Our goal is to make this Christmas season special by offering discounted shopping and fun games where people can win exciting prizes," he shared.

"The lively game creates a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone," Wathangam said.
The carnival offers a variety of stalls, including clothes, Christmas decorations, food, and gaming booths.
Visitors are also enjoying the festive discounts, which make holiday shopping more affordable.
