MLA alerts Heirok denizens on problem creators

Thoubal, April 15 2025: Maintaining that every problem has a solution, Heirok MLA Dr Thokchom Radheshyam has stressed the importance of staying vigilant against individuals who deliberately escalate issues instead of working towards resolving them.

Speaking as chief guest at the inauguration of a community hall constructed from the MLA local area development fund at Langmeithet on Tuesday, the MLA expressed concern that the people of the state are currently facing immense hardships due to the ongoing crisis.

He pointed out the need to reflect and explore effective solutions to address the challenges affecting the public and to work towards alleviating their difficulties.

Reflecting on development works in Heirok AC, Radheshyam mentioned that detailed discussions would be held regarding the potential of Langmeithet as a tourist destination.

In addition to the community hall inaugurated, several other community halls have either been completed or are under construction including two in Salungpham and one each in Kamakhya, Bengi and Pechi, he said.

Old age pension cards were also distributed to 14 beneficiaries and one widow was also handed over widow pension scheme card on the occasion.

Presided over by Lukram Girjini of Langmeithet, the function was also attended by BJP Heirok Mandal president Thokchom Chourjit and social worker Md Sanayai as guests of honour.
