CRPF unit encourages locals to hoist tricolour

Imphal, August 13 2024:
69 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force, Mantripukhri, on Tuesday launched a "Har Ghar Ti-ranga" campaign as part of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" to encourage government and private offices, local bodies and residents of Mantripukhri to hoist the national flag at their homes and offices.
According to a release, all the personnel posted at 69 Bn have been briefed to honour the national flag by displaying it at their residential premises by family members/relatives to help build a sense of patriotism among force personnel and their family members.
National flags were also distributed to the locals to encourage them hoist the 'Tiranga' at their homes from August 13 to 15.As part of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, a walk-athon with the participation of officers, personnel and members of local bodies was flagged off from 69 Bn CRPF Mantripukhri by commandant.SA Rojan Zimik, second-in-command Harji Lal Bairwa and deputy commandant Yogendra Kumar Mishra.
The walkathon covered all the inter-village roads in Mantripukhri, it added.
