Martial arts instructor honoured for global contribution

Martial arts instructor Jugeshwor Kshetrimayum was honoured with the 'Outstanding Contribution Towards Martial Arts Worldwide' award at the 3rd Asia's Leadership Awards 2025 held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dwarka, New Delhi on February 28 .
The award recognises individuals and organisations for their exceptional contributions across various fields, including education, healthcare, social work, sports, and private industries.
Jugeshwor, a resident of Kakching Turel Wangma Ward No 5, currently serves as the managing director of India Kuo Shu Federation and has been actively promoting martial arts among the youth, encouraging them to stay away from substance abuse.
He is also the chief instructor at Warrior Kung-Fu Academy, Bangalore, where he trains around 450 students.
His efforts in popularising martial arts and fostering discipline among young learners have been widely recognised, earning him the prestigious honour.
