Ibobi, Meghachandra leave for CWC meet

CLP leader and former chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh and MPCC president K Meghachandra on Friday left for the national capital to take part in the extended Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting to be held at the party's headquarters in New Delhi on Saturday.
As per sources, the CWC meeting is expected to discuss the Congress party's action plan with state's duo expected to apprise central leaders about accord priority in resolving the protracted ethnic violence in Manipur as well as party's performance in the just concluded 18th Lok Sabha election.
On the other hand, Inner Manipur MP elect Angomcha Bimol Akoijam will be visiting New Delhi on Saturday while Outer MP elect Alfred Kanngam Arthur is already in the national capital since Thursday.
