Faculty induction prog concludes

A weeklong faculty induction programme for newly recruited faculties and scientists of Central Agricultural University (CAU) organised by the Directorate of Instruction, CAU culminated at the conference hall of College of Agriculture on Saturday.
Speaking as chief guest of the valedictory function, CAU registrar Dr Tilak Raj Sharma explained to the participants about the university's rules and regulations, in addition to the roles and duties to be executed.
Presiding over the function, CAU director of Instruction and course director Indira Sarangthem congratulated the participants on successful completion of the course and encouraged them to work hard to improve their skills, thereby further improving their teaching strategies.
She further urged for learning about blended learning platform, ICTs and traditional method of teaching.
CAU director of Research Dr LM Garnayak and College of Food Technology CAU dean Dr Ng Iboyaima, who attended as guests of honour, gathered feedback from the newly recruited assistant professors and provided 10 modules for impact study.
The participants, divided into groups, gave a presentation each.
After assessment and evaluation of the presentations, the top three winners were awarded alongside presenting consolation prizes.
