Imphal, July 26 2024: Majlis-e-Musakira Manipur (MMM) along with members of Jamait Ulama Santhel felicitated students, who have completed Alim, Aalima, Hafiz and Mufti courses during 2021-2023, in a function held at the Santhel Idgah community hall.

Altogether 260 students from Irong, Heibong Makhong, Khelakhong, Uchiwa Nastao, Santhel Hangun, Ngakhapat, Mayang Imphal Bengoon, Yangbi, Loukok and Uchiwa Wangbal were felicitated at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, MMM advisor Mufti Siraj Ahmed emphasised the need for encouraging students and congratulated the students on completing the courses, which are among the crucial ones of Islam religion, and called upon the Meetei Pangal community in different parts of the state to organise such programmes to encourage students.

In his address, MMM president Hafiz Izmail said that religious Consciousness is one of the important measures to prevent social crimes and negative lifestyles and called for encouraging students, who pursue education in religious studies.

Leaders of different religious organisations of Meetei Pangal community also attended the programme.
