AR organises summer camp for children

Imphal, June 26 2024:
Assam Rifles conducted a summer camp for the children of Mantripukhri Garrison from June 17 to 24 with the participation of as many as 25 boys and 14 girls.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the summer camp featured a variety of activities, including horse riding, dance classes, musical instrument sessions, skits, badminton, golf, basketball, football, tree plantation, fireless cooking, paper flower making, and a drawing competition themed "Yoga".
Stating that each activity was designed to provide the children with new experiences and skills, encouraging them to explore their interests and talents, the PRO conveyed that the camp concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony with the children showcasing their talents through cultural dances and skits, earning applause and admiration from the audience.
The participants were awarded prizes, certificates, medals and souvenirs in recognition of their efforts and achievements, it added.
