TTC appeals for repairing NH-2 at Tadubi

Expressing dissent over continuous inaction by authorities concerned to repair the road at Tadubi town, Tadubi Town Committee (TTC) has again issued an appeal for repairing the NH-2, especially at Tadubi town, at the earliest.
The road stretch in Tadubi town has been neglected for long with no major repair work undertaken in-spite of the town committee making appeals to the district authorities.
Such protracted negligence is causing immense inconveniences to daily commuters and posing serious safety hazards.
Several minor accidents have already occurred due to the deteriorating condition of the road which has been worsening with each passing day especially during rainy season.
Earlier, TTC president Egi Kayina wrote to the Senapati deputy commissioner highlighting the deteriorating condition of NH2 at Tadubi Bazar, the repair for which has been delayed for an extended period of time.
The road is riddled with deep potholes, and uneven surfaces, making it hazardous for motorists and pedestrians alike.
The locals have been facing numerous health issues because of the dust pollution while on rainy days, the road turns muddy and slippery.
The president urged to treat the matter with urgency which it deserves, as the road has become a significant concern for all local residents.
With no action taken till date, the public have started to mull launch of indefinite ban on movement of vehicles till the road is repaired and blacktopped.
The TTC president has appealed to authorities concerned to initiate repair works for betterment of all and for safety of the denizens residing near the highway at the earliest.
