Many condole demise of Ibotombi Khuman

Imphal, November 22 2024: United Committee Manipur (UCM), Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System, Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup, All Manipur Women's Social Reformation & Development Samaj (Nupi Samaj), All Manipur Tammi-Chingmi Apunba Nupi Lup, Nongpok Leingak Apunba Nupi Lup, Nongchup Imphal Palem Ima Apunba Nupi Lup, Apunba Nupi Lup-Bishnupur, Thoubal District United Women's Development Organisation, Manipuri Chanura Leishem Marup, Ereipak Enaat Chanura Loinasinlon, Extra-Judicial Execution Victim Families Association Manipur, Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Semgat Sagat Lup, Khwairamband Phouoibi Ima Keithel Women's Vendors Welfare Association, Paona Keithel Women's Welfare Organisation, United Peoples' Front-Manipur, National Identity Protection Council, Manipur Peace & Integrity Council, Coalition Against Drugs'& Alcohol, All Manipur Progressive Farmers Association, South East Asia Cultural Organisation, Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak and its affiliated organisations - UNACSU, AMYPCO, KaPFA, UCSCK, KWWA, CHITUWA, WWOK, NYLAK, KaKIL and SUK, Kom Tribe Organisation Valley (KTOV), Major Meiraba Memorial Trust and Ningthemcha Ningshing Lup along with a student body condoled the demise of Heikrujam Ibotombi Khuman.

In a release, UCM information & public relations secretary Soibam Anil informed that the body of H Ibotombi was brought to its office at 6:30 pm on November 19 to pay the last respect.

His body was covered with the 'Seven Colour Flag' with UCM consultative members, central committee, steering committee and component organisations members, his students and friends' paying floral tributes along with observing a two-minute silence.

Meanwhile, the aforementioned organisations held condolence meeting at CADA office on Thursday, prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and shared the grief of the bereaved family.
