Follow traffic rules, save lives: SP Pramesh

Peoples' for Political Rights and Responsibility Manipur (PPRRM) conducted exhibition cum awareness programme on road safety in front of Kangla Western Gate on Friday.
Speaking On the occasion, Traffic Control Police Wing SP Arambam Pramesh termed road accidents as silent killers.
He noted that, despite the potential for facing penalties, many individuals continue to violate road safety and traffic regulations.
According to SP Pramesh, common violations include not wearing helmets or seat-belts, jumping red lights at zebra crossings, haphazard parking, excessive honking in residential areas, and driving underage.
He then urged everyone to follow traffic rules and prioritise road safety to prevent tragic accidents and save precious human lives.
The inauguration function of the seven-day campaign was also attended by MSPDCL general manager Angom Priy-oranjan, PPRRM medical head Dr Jupiter Sanasam and others.
